Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled C#/.NET Developer with strong experience in desktop application development and cross-platform UI frameworks. The ideal candidate should be proficient in building responsive, high-performance desktop applications using modern .NET technologies, MVVM architecture, and native library integration. The role involves developing reliable desktop software, optimizing application performance, and supporting deployment across Windows and macOS environments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using C# and .NET 8 or later.
• Develop asynchronous and highly responsive applications using async/await and task-based concurrency.
• Build cross-platform desktop user interfaces using frameworks such as Avalonia, .NET MAUI, Uno Platform, or WPF.
• Implement MVVM architecture, data binding, custom controls, and UI styling.
• Integrate C# applications with native C/C++ libraries using P/Invoke or other interoperability mechanisms.
• Manage application packaging, deployment, and distribution across Windows and macOS.
• Troubleshoot application performance, stability, and responsiveness issues.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality desktop software.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET 8 or later.
• Strong understanding of async/await, Tasks, and task-based concurrency.
• Experience developing desktop applications.
• Experience with at least one of the following UI frameworks:
  • Avalonia
  • .NET MAUI
  • Uno Platform
  • WPF
• Strong knowledge of MVVM architecture, data binding, custom controls, and styling.
• Experience with P/Invoke or C#/C++ native interoperability.
• Experience with application packaging and deployment for Windows and macOS.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, debugging, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with .NET memory management and performance profiling.
• Knowledge of profiling tools such as dotMemory, PerfView, or Visual Studio Profiler.
• Exposure to NDI, NDI SDK, or other media and streaming SDKs.
• Experience working with multimedia, video, audio, or real-time applications.
• Familiarity with cross-platform application architecture and deployment.
