C Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain systems that transform trades into banks own format that gets used by many clients’ systems
• Embrace the testing and delivery into production of any changes made
• Make changes to the Data Services software stack using TDD, developing adequate understanding to ensure system stability and performance is maintained while delivering change to customers.
• Interact with Product Owner, Quantitative Analysts, and Front Office Customers to understand, design, estimate and delivery solutions.
• Provide L3 support when required and propose solutions to ensure maximum service availability

Required Skills:

• C++ and C# Server side coding, within Visual Studio
• Knowledge of Summit and the Summit API would be highly beneficial
• Knowledge of financial products (Futures, Options, IR Swaps, Bonds)
• Transact SQL experience on Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server experience
• DevOps standard methodology, with metrics driven development, continuous integration/deployment
• Passion for delivering collaboratively and continuously with other specialists as part of an agile feature team, with a strong focus on delivering stable performant solutions
• Experience of agile working
• Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communications skills across the Value Stream matrix
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high code quality.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership.
