Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced C/C++ Developer with strong expertise in Modern C++, TCP/IP network programming, system-level development, and cross-platform software development on Linux and Windows. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining communication stacks, networking components, and high-performance software applications.

Experience with BACnet or other building automation communication protocols will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components using C and Modern C++.
• Develop network communication components using TCP/IP, socket programming, and client-server architecture.
• Implement and maintain communication protocol stacks and networking modules.
• Develop and debug system-level software involving multithreading, synchronization, and IPC mechanisms.
• Work on cross-platform applications for Linux and Windows.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues using GDB, WinDbg, and crash-dump analysis tools.
• Develop and maintain build configurations using CMake and Makefiles.
• Write unit tests and test automation scripts using Python or Perl.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
• Ensure software quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Mandatory Skills

1. Strong hands-on experience in C/C++ and Modern C++.
2. TCP/IP networking and socket programming.
3. Client-server architecture and network communication protocols.
4. Multithreading, synchronization, and IPC mechanisms.
5. Linux and Windows system-level software development.
6. Debugging using GDB, WinDbg, or equivalent tools.
7. Build systems such as CMake and Makefiles.
8. Good understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

Good to Have

• Experience with BACnet or building automation protocols.
• Experience with Python or Perl test automation.
• Cross-platform application development.
• Network security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education

BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a relevant engineering discipline, or an equivalent master's qualification, subject to the hiring team's eligibility criteria.

Candidate Expectations

Candidates should have strong hands-on C/C++ development experience, practical knowledge of TCP/IP socket programming, and experience developing or debugging system-level software. Candidates with communication protocol implementation and cross-platform development experience will be preferred.
