C++ Developer

Role & responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C/C++.
• Perform code debugging, issue investigation, and defect resolution.
• Participate in Unix-to-Linux migration activities, ensuring seamless application transition and compatibility.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency.
• Optimize application performance and database queries to improve system efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot critical system issues as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong hands-on experience in C and C++ programming.
• Expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of complex applications.
• Hands-on experience in Unix to Linux (U2L) migration projects, including application migration and validation.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database query optimization.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of applications and databases.
• Ability to analyze system bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and application support processes.
