C++ Developer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade software frameworks and applications.
• Design and build reusable, scalable, and extensible software components.
• Participate in software architecture, design discussions, and technical reviews.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex issues using C/C++ debugging tools and core dump analysis.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to effort estimation, task planning, and work breakdown activities.
• Develop and maintain APIs, libraries, and framework components.
• Ensure product quality through testing, review processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow Agile methodologies and actively participate in sprint planning, development, and release cycles.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming with a solid understanding of OOP concepts and pointers.
• Hands-on experience in product or software development environments.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Good knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns, and Design Principles.
• Experience working with relational databases (RDBMS).
• Familiarity with C/C++ compilation, linking, build processes, and debugging methodologies.
• Experience with API development, library development, and QA/testing tools.
• Knowledge of Agile software development practices.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas:
• Database technologies
• Client-Server architecture
• Socket programming
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
