Buyer AUTOMOTIVE WIRING HARNESS SOURCING & SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities- Source and develop suppliers for wiring harness components, including connectors, terminals, seals, wires, tapes, clips, sleeves, battery terminals, and plastic parts.- Manage RFQs, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and cost-reduction activities.- Drive localization and alternate-source development.- Support new-program sourcing from RFQ through SOP.- Coordinate with Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program teams.- Monitor supplier performance for Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Capacity.- Ensure timely PPAP, APQP, and material availability for production launches. Qualifications

Education- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.- MBA in Supply Chain or Operations preferred. Essential skills

• Required Skills- Strong automotive purchasing and supplier-management experience.- Expertise in supplier negotiation, cost analysis, and strategic sourcing.- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and SAP/ERP systems.- Experience in localization and new-supplier development. Desired skills
