What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
In this position, you will get to: Responsible for planning production and assembly requirements, including production scheduling coordination, to align material availability, operational priorities and customer delivery commitments. Conduct and own the SIOP process for PAN India, working with the broader APAC Material Demand Planning team to align demand, supply, inventory and production planning requirements. Create, review and release purchase orders in a timely manner, ensuring system transactions are completed accurately to maintain inventory balances and planning records. Review and address past-due orders, stock-outs and material shortages, including expediting deliveries as required to meet customer demand. Review safety stock levels, inventory performance and excess or obsolete stock, recommending adjustments based on historical usage, forecast demand and business priorities. Respond promptly and professionally to Customer Service enquiries regarding lead times, delivery status and schedule revisions. Identify and resolve issues that affect delivery, quality, documentation, invoice accuracy, or inventory performance. Coordinate corrective actions with relevant collaborators and keep Operations and Management informed of critical matters. Establish, monitor and maintain accurate system records, planning parameters and item data for assigned materials. Monitor supplier changes, including price increases or supply impacts, and communicate relevant updates to Supply Management. Develop, maintain and distribute measurement reports as required to support procurement, inventory and operational performance. Ensure prompt disposition of non-conforming receipts to minimize impact to customer service. Assist the India Logistics team with import/export documentation and E-way bill filing as required
You have:
Academic background in Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Previous experience in or with minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, materials management, production planning or supply chain management preferred. Experience with SIOP, demand planning, supply planning or production planning processes, including the ability to coordinate cross-functional inputs and translate demand signals into actionable supply and inventory plans Skills Strong analytical capability with proven ability to use data and fact-based problem solving to support decision making. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, internal partners, technical teams and leadership. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external business partners. Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems required. M3 is a benefit.
