Roles Responsibilities
- Administer and support the cDB2 (Cloud DB2) platform within the Business View Platform environment.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain DB2 database environments across development, testing, and production.
- Monitor database health, performance, capacity, and availability.
- Perform database backup, recovery, restore, and disaster recovery activities.
- Support database migrations, modernization initiatives, and platform upgrades.
- Troubleshoot database performance issues, connectivity problems, and application-related incidents.
- Manage user access, roles, privileges, and database security controls.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell Scripting, Python, or Ansible.
- Work closely with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure platform stability.
- Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Bachelor of Engineering
