Job Description
Business Transformation Consultant – Power Platform Shift- 3pm to 12am Total Experience : 8-15 years
Role Purpose The Business Transformation Consultant is responsible for ensuring Microsoft Power Platform solutions deliver measurable business value and sustainable operational improvements. Working closely with business leaders, Product Owners and solution delivery teams, the role partners with the business throughout the solution lifecycle—from opportunity identification and business case development through to adoption, benefits realisation and continuous optimisation. The role acts as the business value owner for Power Platform solutions by defining success measures, establishing KPIs and SLAs, measuring realised benefits, and using operational data to identify enhancement opportunities and future automation initiatives.
Skills & Experience Essential
- Experience in Business Transformation, Operational Excellence, Process Improvement or Business Analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and develop actionable insights.
- Experience defining KPIs, SLAs, performance measures and operational governance.
- Experience developing business cases and measuring business benefits.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Desirable
- Experience delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
- Understanding of process automation and workflow optimisation.
- Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement or Process Excellence methodologies.
- Experience within operational functions such as Finance, Claims, Collections or Shared Services.
- Experience in Credit Control or Insurance Collections within the Lloyd's of London or global commercial insurance market.
- Understanding of collections strategies, receivables management, collector productivity and operational performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities Business Partnership & Process Transformation
- Partner with business leaders to understand operational challenges, strategic priorities and improvement opportunities.
- Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for automation, simplification and standardisation using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Facilitate workshops to define business requirements, future-state processes and operating models.
- Develop business cases supported by operational data and evidence-based analysis.
- Challenge existing ways of working and recommend improvements that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Benefits Realisation & Value Management
- Define expected business outcomes and success criteria for every solution.
- Establish current-state performance baselines using operational data.
- Develop and maintain Benefits Realisation Plans for each initiative.
- Measure and validate realised benefits against agreed objectives following implementation.
- Produce executive reporting demonstrating productivity improvements, efficiency gains, service improvements and business value.
- Support business leaders with data-driven analysis to validate capacity release, productivity improvements and operational efficiencies.
Performance Management & Operational Governance
- Define operational KPIs, SLAs and performance measures for new Power Platform solutions, particularly where no formal measures currently exist.
- Design reporting frameworks and dashboards that enable the business to monitor operational performance.
- Embed KPIs and SLAs into day-to-day business operations.
- Monitor solution performance and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Conduct periodic solution health checks to ensure expected business outcomes continue to be achieved.
Adoption & Change
- Develop adoption strategies to maximise utilisation and business value.
- Drive successful business adoption of Power Platform solutions.
- Monitor user engagement and identify barriers to adoption.
- Partner with business leaders to embed new processes and ways of working.
- Measure adoption against agreed success criteria.
Continuous Improvement & Roadmap Management
- Analyse operational performance data, user feedback and business trends to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Recommend automation levers and process improvements that increase efficiency, improve service delivery and maximise business value.
- Develop and maintain solution enhancement roadmaps aligned to business priorities.
- Build a pipeline of future automation opportunities supported by data, business cases and expected benefits.
- Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to prioritise enhancements based on value, operational impact and strategic objectives.
Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders, operational teams and technology partners.
- Facilitate agreement on business priorities, solution scope, KPIs and expected outcomes.
- Influence stakeholders through factual analysis and evidence-based recommendations.
- Act as the primary business transformation partner throughout the lifecycle of Power Platform solutions.
