Business System Analyst

Required Skills

• 3-6 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Business Analyst in the banking or financial services domain.
• Strong experience in US Banking.
• Hands-on experience in Fraud Screening / Fraud Detection / Fraud Prevention.
• Good understanding of banking transactions and payment processes.
• Experience working with fraud rules, alerts, screening workflows, and transaction monitoring.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
• Experience creating BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA or similar tools.
• Good understanding of SDLC and software development processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with US payment systems and banking products.
• Knowledge of ACH, Wire, Zelle, Debit/Credit Card, and online banking transactions.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC, sanctions screening, and compliance processes.
• Exposure to fraud platforms or tools such as NICE Actimize, FICO Falcon, SAS Fraud Management, or similar fraud detection platforms.
• Experience with API-based systems and integration workflows.
• Experience with data mapping and system-to-system integration.
