Business Process Architect Financial Accounting

Job Summary

Your role. You will be designing and optimizing financial accounting processes in our global ERP templates. You will be a part of the global project teams, supporting in deploying these templates and roll out to entities of our company worldwide. In doing so, you compare existing processes and requirements with the template processes and advise on how to implement and use the template processes. Based on a broad knowledge of technical standards and operational business requirements, you will develop proposals for new finance processes for the ERP templates or the improvement for existing ones. You will align those changes with the corresponding business process owners and business leads. You will promote process harmonization, application rationalization, and sustainable global templates while taking local and statutory requirements into account. Moreover, you are a key contact for providing functional and technical support to key users, technical support personnel and operational management looking for expert knowledge in end-to-end financial accounting.

Responsibilities

• Designing and optimizing financial accounting processes in our global ERP templates.
• Being part of the global project teams, supporting deployment and rollout to entities worldwide.
• Comparing existing processes and requirements with the template processes and advising on how to implement and use the template processes.
• Developing proposals for new finance processes for the ERP templates or improvements for existing ones.
• Aligning those changes with the corresponding business process owners and business leads.
• Promoting process harmonization, application rationalization, and sustainable global templates while taking local and statutory requirements into account.
• Providing functional and technical support to key users, technical support personnel and operational management seeking expert knowledge in end-to-end financial accounting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in finance accounting, preferably in a shared service center environment.
• Expert-level knowledge in setting up and using SAP FI preferably based on SAP ECC 6.0 and S4/HANA.
• Knowledge and experience in IFRS reporting.
• Knowledge and experience in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance as advantage.
• Great communications skills to be able to discuss the process with stakeholders and take over responsibility for the implementation.
• Ability to work independently, high level of initiative, sense of responsibility, and assertiveness.
• Outstanding team player qualities.
• Experience leading small, international project teams.
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Sciences or any related area is required.
• Strong understanding of AI-driven solutions.
