Business Intelligence Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Build lightweight, maintainable data pipelines using Excel, SQL, and Python/R to support reporting and workflow logic
• Handle data merging, cleaning, and transformation for analysis and automation tasks
• Design and maintain daily / weekly / monthly dashboards for Sales, Inventory, and Production
• Standardize reporting formats across teams to improve management decision-making
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of data extracted from ERP / Excel / manual logs
• Identify manual, repetitive tasks and automate them using suitable tools
• Set up workflows that auto-generate alerts, reports, or summaries from Excel / ERP data
• Assist with proof-of-concept AI applications sales forecasting, inventory optimization, quality classification
• Act as a bridge between senior leadership and operational teams, translating business needs into tools and automation flows
• Collaborate with the existing team while building the next layer of intelligence and automation

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-4 years of experience in MIS, operations analytics
• Experience in (FMCG / Pharma / Automobiles / Manufacturing / Luxury Goods / Retail) is an added advantage
• Proficiency in English required; Telugu / Hindi preferred
• Advanced Excel and Power Query skills
• Intermediate SQL knowledge (good to have)
• Python or R for data wrangling and visualization
• Strong business understanding and communication skills
• Proactive, reliable, self-directed, and execution-oriented
