Job Description

We are looking for a talented Tableau Developer to create dynamic, insightful, and intuitive visual reports using Tableau.

We are looking for candidates with strong Tableau and SQL skills, along with experience using AI tools to assist their work.

Candidates will need to showcase their Tableau profile and demonstrate the dashboards they've built in the past.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and design tailored solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality in all reports and dashboards.
• Conduct data analysis to uncover trends and patterns that drive business improvements.
• Work with large datasets, integrating multiple data sources (e.g., SQL)
• Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance to ensure fast and effective dashboard loading.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Tableau reports and dashboards, addressing issues and implementing updates.
• Stay updated on the latest features and best practices in Tableau and data visualization technologies.
• Train and assist end-users with Tableau functionality and promote best practices.
• Document Tableau reports, processes, and data models for future reference.

Technical Skills

• Experience: 5+ years in a Tableau Developer or similar role, working with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.
• Tools: Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Server/Online.
• Databases: Strong knowledge of relational databases such as SQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Data Integration: Experience connecting Tableau to various data sources (e.g., cloud, flat files, APIs).
• ETL: Familiarity with ETL tools and processes for complex data transformation and preparation.
• Programming: Proficiency in SQL queries, stored procedures, and advanced Excel functions.
• Version Control: Experience managing Tableau workbooks using version control systems.
