Job Description:

Role & Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for getting sustainable business in the company's focus areas with good profit margins as per the company's Annual Business Plan.

- Securing Orders in Target market segments ATF Spotting Opportunities.

- Tie ups leading to MOU/agreement with GIS manufacturers/main vendors/sub-contractors.

- Tie ups leading to MOU/agreement with overseas agents.

- Review and Optimization of Engineering Proposal.

- Review and Optimization of Cost Portion.

- Post Bid follow ups.

- Risk Assessment & Mitigation.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Education:

Engineer having at least 20-25 years experience in the field of Business Development in the EPC sector securing orders in the range of INR 3000 Cr. Should have worked in BD area for ATF facilities like semiconductor, pharma, solar, battery, and FMCG. Additional qualification in the Management area is desirable.

Domain Knowledge:

- Transmission line BD, tendering including risk identification, evaluation, assessment, and control.

- Knowledge of market in respect of costs of various items, suppliers, contractors, and potential customers.

- Knowledge of competitors.

- Commercial information like foreign currency variations, Forward coverage, taxation, and insurance.

Cross-functional:

- Knowledge of Quality, Engineering, Finance, SCM, HR; Liasioning with Agents, Consultants, Vendors, Contractors, and Clients.

Skills:

- Customer relationship management skills, Communication skills, and negotiation skills.

Behavioural:

- Inter-personal skills; networking skills; People-development skills; PR.
