Role Description The Business Head – Furniture will lead the end-to-end business operations for the furniture category, driving growth, profitability, and brand positioning. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves developing and executing business strategies, managing P&L, and setting sales and revenue targets. The role includes overseeing merchandising and assortment planning, guiding pricing and promotional strategies, and collaborating closely with marketing, retail operations, supply chain, and finance teams. The Business Head will analyze market trends and customer insights, build strategic partnerships with vendors, and ensure exceptional customer experience across online and offline channels. Responsibilities also include leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, establishing performance metrics, and ensuring adherence to company standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in furniture, retail, consumer goods, or a related industry, with a strong track record of managing large-scale business operations.
• Solid expertise in business strategy, category management, and P&L ownership, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strong skills in sales management, merchandising, and pricing strategy, with the ability to drive revenue growth and optimize margins.
• Experience in brand building, marketing collaboration, and customer experience enhancement across physical stores and digital channels.
• Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with excellent people management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Data-driven decision-making capability, including proficiency in using analytics, market research, and performance metrics to guide business actions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced environment in Bengaluru, with readiness to travel to stores and partner locations as required.
