Business Head - Gold Loan

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and drive the overall Gold Loan business across the pan-India branch network.
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve AUM, disbursement, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Monitor regional and branch-level business performance and drive corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor senior business teams including Regional Managers, Area Managers, and Branch Managers.
• Drive customer acquisition, branch productivity, market expansion, and business growth.
• Monitor portfolio quality, collections, renewals, top-ups, and auction performance.
• Analyse market and competitor trends and identify new business opportunities.
• Work closely with Operations, Audit, Risk, Compliance, Credit, and Finance teams.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Provide regular business performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Gold Loan / NBFC is mandatory.
• Proven experience in managing and growing a Gold Loan business.
• Experience in handling multi-state / pan-India operations will be preferred.
• Strong track record in achieving business and profitability targets.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, analytical, and people-management skills.
• Strong understanding of Gold Loan products, sales, branch operations, collections, and portfolio management.
