Business Finance Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a commercially oriented Business Finance Manager with 6-8 years of experience in FP&A and business partnering, preferably within the BPO/ITES or healthcare services industry. The role will partner with assigned business verticals to drive budgeting, forecasting, performance management, revenue assurance, cost optimization, and decision support. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial analysis with business understanding and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Business Finance Partnering: Partner with business and functional leaders to understand operating drivers, provide financial insights, and support achievement of revenue, margin, and profitability objectives.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate the annual budget and rolling forecast process for assigned business units. Consolidate assumptions, challenge inputs, and track performance against approved plans.
• Performance Management and Business Reviews: Prepare monthly and quarterly business review packs, analyze KPIs and financial trends, explain variances, and highlight risks, opportunities, and required actions.
• Revenue Assurance and Commercial Finance: Support revenue recognition, client billing, pricing analysis, contract reviews, and revenue reconciliation in collaboration with commercial, delivery, and accounting teams.
• Cost Optimization and Margin Improvement: Analyze cost structures, productivity, utilization, and account-level profitability. Work with operations to identify and track cost improvement and margin enhancement initiatives.
• Financial Modelling and Decision Support: Build financial models and scenario analyses for business cases, pricing decisions, investments, capacity planning, and other management decisions.
• Management Reporting and Analytics: Develop accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports and dashboards at business-unit, customer, and cost-center levels.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Sales, HR, IT, Admin, Compliance, and Accounting teams to validate assumptions, improve data quality, and support business decisions.
• Process Improvement and Automation: Improve FP&A processes, reporting templates, controls, and dashboards using Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and other available tools.
• Stakeholder and Team Support: Manage assigned deliverables independently, guide analysts where applicable, and communicate financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Support management with financial analysis, executive presentations, due diligence, and other strategic or operational projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, business finance, or commercial finance, preferably in the BPO/ITES or healthcare services industry.
• Hands-on experience in budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, management reporting, and financial modelling.
• Experience in business partnering with operations and cross-functional stakeholders.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling, PivotTables, Power Query, and macros.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to build KPI dashboards and prepare clear, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations.
