Business Finance Head

Role Overview:

To provide strategic financial leadership and business partnering support for the Gears, Gears & Pinions, and Gear Motors business divisions. The role is responsible for financial planning, profitability improvement, cost management, business performance monitoring, risk management, treasury, compliance, and governance while supporting sustainable and profitable growth.

This position will be responsible to support in preparing overall and business unit reports with focus on inventory, receivables and capex and release cash to improve the Free Cash Flow as per yearly target.

Strategic Finance & Business Partnering:

- Formulating GGM BU strategy, BSC roll-out with overall and functional budget and implement the same; Monitor BU performance through daily, weekly, and monthly reports with variance analysis.

P & L and Profitability Management:

- Analyze profitability by Product, Customer, Industry Segment, Geography, and Order to drive and achieve Gross Margins, EBITDA, Contribution Margins, and ROCE.

- Review of internal and statutory audit points and act for closing open points.

Balance Sheet Preparation:

- Responsible for Balance Sheet of company and drive inventory reduction, receivables reduction and payables management by coordinating with respective process owners.

Cost Management & Manufacturing Finance:

- Lead product costing and manufacturing cost analysis, establish standard costing systems; Monitor material cost, conversion cost, labour productivity, machine utilization, inventory carrying cost; drive cost reduction programs through value engineering, localization, procurement savings, and process improvements.

- Inventory and receivables exceptions review with process owners to reduce exceptions as per business target and monitor plan vs actual on monthly basis with variance reporting to BU Heads, CFO, and CEO.
