Business Development Trainee (E-Waste & EPR)

Company Description

Bharat Recycling Pvt Ltd is an environmental services company that specialises in e-waste and lithium-ion battery recycling, along with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance.

• What we do: Collect and recycle e-waste and end-of-life batteries, process batteries into black mass, and recover valuable metals through hydrometallurgical refining.
• Who we serve: Producers, importers, brand owners (PIBOs), EV and battery manufacturers, and corporates that generate e-waste.
• Why it matters: We help clients meet the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 and the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022, while returning critical minerals to India's supply chain.

Role Description: Business Development Trainee (E-Waste & EPR)

Noida (On-site, with field travel) | Full-time | Freshers or 0–1 year | [6-9] LPA + incentives

Key responsibilities

1. Lead generation: Research and build lead lists of electronics manufacturers, EV and battery OEMs, IT companies, corporates and aggregators that generate e-waste or battery scrap.
2. AI automation: Build and run Claude skills and AI agents that automate lead research, supplier profiling, outreach drafting, CRM updates and weekly MIS reports for the sourcing team.
3. Field exposure: Join factory visits and supplier meetings to learn how material is graded, priced and processed.
4. EPR support: Help check supplier documents (invoices, e-way bills, Form 6) and learn how CPCB portal records and certificates work.
5. Reporting: Keep the lead tracker up to date and share weekly reports on leads, conversions and tonnage.

Qualifications

• An MBA (Sales, Marketing or Supply Chain) or a B.Tech/B.E. in any engineering discipline, ideally completed in 2024–2026.
• Mandatory: proven hands-on AI skills. You must have built at least one of the following yourself:
• Custom Claude skills (SKILL.md-based) or Claude Projects with structured instructions
• Agentic workflows where AI researches, decides and takes actions across tools
• AI automations using MCP connectors, n8n, Make, Zapier or APIs (for example, AI reading emails and updating a sheet or CRM)
• Strong prompt engineering, including structured prompts, multi-step workflows and AI-generated reports
• An internship, project or dissertation in e-waste, recycling, EPR, sustainability or B2B sales is preferred.
• A basic understanding of e-waste, battery types and EPR, or a strong interest in learning them quickly.
• Good communication in English and Hindi, and confident on calls and in meetings.
• Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets, PowerPoint and LinkedIn.
• Willing to work on-site in Noida and travel to factories and industrial areas in NCR.
