Position : Business Development & Strategic Marketing Profile

Reporting : Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Location : Gurgaon / Pan India

Industry : Water Resources Management, Hydraulic Structures, Barrage Gates, Dams ,STP/WTP etc.

Job Purpose : To identify, analyse, and develop new business opportunities across India in Water Resources, Irrigation, Dam Rehabilitation, River Rejuvenation, Flood Control, and Water Conservation sectors, industrial, mining and urban infrastructure. The role will support the CEO with strategic market intelligence, business analytics, project tracking, and opportunity mapping for Rubber Dam, BGM (Barrage Gate Mechanism), and PVC Membrane solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1.Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification

• Track upcoming and ongoing projects related to dams, barrages, irrigation systems, riverfront developments, flood management, and water conservation across all Indian states.
• Monitor tender portals, government budgets, DPRs, policy announcements, and infrastructure development plans.
• Identify potential opportunities for Rubber Dams, Barrage Gate Mechanisms (BGM), PVC Membrane Systems, and related hydraulic infrastructure.
• Develop state-wise opportunity pipelines and business forecasts.

2.Business Analytics

• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, project investments, and government funding patterns.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly business intelligence reports for the CEO.
• Develop dashboards and MIS reports highlighting opportunities, project status, tender schedules, and revenue potential.
• Conduct market sizing and demand assessment studies.

3.Strategic Business Development Support

• Coordinate with state irrigation departments, water resources departments, consultants, and EPC contractors.
• Identify key decision-makers and influencers in government and private sectors.
• Support proposal strategies and market entry plans for new states and regions.
• Recommend priority markets and growth strategies based on data-driven analysis.

4.Research & Reporting

• Prepare comprehensive reports on:

* State-wise irrigation projects

* Dam rehabilitation programs

* River rejuvenation initiatives

* Smart water management projects

* Mining & Industrial application

* International funding opportunities (World Bank, ADB, JICA, etc.)

• Present strategic recommendations directly to the CEO and senior management.

5. Stakeholder Mapping

• Maintain database of government officials, consultants, contractors, and project authorities.
• Track project approvals, funding status, and implementation schedules.

6. Desired Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent understanding of infrastructure and government project ecosystems.
• Ability to interpret technical and financial data.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of tendering processes and government procurement systems.
• Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
• Strategic thinking and business acumen.

7. Preferred Qualifications

• MBA (Marketing / Strategy / Business Analytics) or B.Tech / Civil Engineering with MBA.
• 510 years of experience in infrastructure, water resources, irrigation, dams, hydraulic structures, or related sectors.

8. Preferred Industry Experience

Water Resources, Irrigation, Dam Engineering, Hydraulic Structures, EPC Infrastructure, River Rejuvenation, Water Conservation, Smart Water Management, and Government Infrastructure Projects.
