Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Specialist role based in Lucknow. The Business Development Specialist will identify and nurture prospective learners, meet enrollment targets, and promote Imarticus Learning’s programs through consultations, presentations, and follow-ups. Responsibilities include managing lead pipelines, conducting counseling sessions (in-person and over the phone), maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and coordinating with marketing and academic teams to optimize conversion rates. The role involves building strong relationships with learners and corporate partners, representing the brand at events, and providing feedback on market trends and learner needs. The specialist will collaborate with colleagues to support continuous improvement in sales processes and learner experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, prospecting, consultative selling, and negotiation.
- Candidates should possess relationship management skills, such as stakeholder engagement, customer service, and the ability to build long-term partnerships.
- Candidates should possess communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and active listening.
- Candidates should possess organizational and analytical skills, such as pipeline management, data-driven decision-making, and accurate record-keeping in CRM tools.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; experience in education, edtech, or training services is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, meet defined targets, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, learner-centric environment.
