Business Development or Sales Intern

Job Summary:
Support the sales and business development team in lead generation, market research, customer communication, sales follow-ups, and business development activities while gaining practical exposure to the complete sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and research potential customers, markets, and business opportunities.
• Generate leads through online research, cold calling, email, social media, and other channels.
• Assist the sales team in prospecting and qualifying leads.
• Contact prospective customers and understand their requirements.
• Support sales executives/BDMs in client follow-ups and appointment scheduling.
• Maintain and update lead, prospect, and customer databases.
• Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, quotations, and other business documents.
• Conduct competitor and market research to identify new opportunities.
• Follow up with prospects regarding enquiries, meetings, proposals, and conversions.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth customer communication and order processing.
• Assist in maintaining CRM records and preparing sales activity reports.
• Participate in client meetings, exhibitions, networking events, and promotional activities.
• Support customer retention, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives.
• Achieve assigned internship KPIs related to lead generation, calls, meetings, or conversions.
