Business Development Officer

We are looking for an energetic and target-oriented Business Development Officer to drive CASA acquisition and business growth through open-market field sales. The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, generating leads, building relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire new customers through open-market field sales activities.
• Generate leads through references, cold calling, market visits, and networking.
• Sell and promote CASA products – Current Account and Savings Account.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Conduct regular field visits to meet prospective and existing customers.
• Achieve monthly CASA acquisition, activation, and business targets.
• Cross-sell relevant banking and financial products to existing customers.
• Ensure proper collection and verification of customer KYC documents.
• Coordinate with branch/operations teams for smooth account opening and activation.
• Maintain daily sales reports, lead pipeline, and customer records.
• Ensure compliance with the bank's policies, KYC guidelines, and sales processes.

Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in CASA Sales, Banking Sales, Field Sales, Direct Sales, or Open Market Sales are preferred.
• Experience in acquiring Savings/Current Accounts will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of the local market and customer base.
• Strong communication, convincing, and relationship-management skills.
• Comfortable with extensive field work and customer visits.
• Target-oriented with a strong focus on business acquisition.
• Candidates from BFSI, Banking, NBFC, Insurance, or other financial sales backgrounds can be considered.
