Business Development Officer

We are looking for an aggressive and result-oriented Direct Sales Executive to drive sales of premium marble, granite, and natural stone products. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business through field visits, developing relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and project owners, and converting leads into successful sales.

Role & responsibilities

Generate new business through direct field sales and market visits.

Regularly visit construction sites, architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and developers to identify potential projects.

Conduct site mapping and collect information on upcoming and ongoing projects.

Generate leads through cold calling, references, networking, and market intelligence.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and project owners.

Present and recommend suitable marble, granite, and natural stone products to clients.

Arrange showroom visits and product presentations for prospective customers

Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, site visits, quotations, and sales pipeline in CRM.

Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Preferred candidate profile

5 years of experience in direct/field sales, preferably from the marble, granite, tiles, sanitaryware, furniture, building materials, or luxury interior industry.

Candidates with experience in marble/granite or other premium building materials will be preferred.

Strong network among architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and developers will be an advantage.

Must be a strong field player and comfortable with extensive market and site visits.

Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred/required.
