Role Description The Business Development Manager at Staybook.in will focus on expanding the network of partner hotels and strengthening relationships with existing partners to drive revenue and market growth. This full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi involves identifying new business opportunities, negotiating partnership terms, and onboarding hotels to the platform. The individual will track performance metrics, analyze market trends, and collaborate with marketing and operations teams to optimize offerings and improve partner satisfaction. Daily responsibilities also include conducting regular field visits, managing key accounts, resolving partner issues, and preparing reports and presentations for leadership. The role requires proactive engagement with stakeholders to enhance Staybook.in's presence and competitiveness in the hospitality sector.
Qualifications

• Strong business development, sales, and account management skills, with experience in identifying leads, negotiating deals, and closing partnerships.
• Knowledge of hospitality, travel, or online marketplace domains, and ability to understand hotel operations, pricing models, and customer expectations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with hotel owners, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with data, reporting, and using insights to improve performance and strategy.
• Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple projects, field visits, and partner interactions efficiently.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Prior experience in business development or sales, preferably in hospitality, travel-tech, or e-commerce; familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office.
• Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, travel to partner locations as needed, and maintain a professional, customer-focused approach.
