Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for permanent staffing solutions across target industries.
• Identify, engage, and convert prospective clients through field sales activities, networking, and market mapping.
• Build and manage long-term relationships with key decision-makers and hiring stakeholders.
• Develop customized staffing proposals and negotiate commercial agreements to win new business.
• Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure timely delivery against client hiring requirements.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and hiring demand to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasting, and client activity updates in CRM systems.
• Achieve assigned revenue, client acquisition, and business development targets.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of B2B sales/business development experience, preferably in Permanent Staffing, Recruitment, HR Services, or Workforce Solutions.
• Proven track record in new client acquisition and revenue generation.
• Strong network with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business decision-makers in Mumbai.
• Excellent hunting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Target-driven professional with strong market understanding and field sales exposure.
• Experience in managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
