Job Description Business Development Manager (BDM)

Location: Vadodara / POR, New GIDC (Transportation Available) Industry: Food Processing Machinery Chapati & Khakhra Machines

Job Summary:-

We are looking for a result-oriented and sales-focused Business Development Manager to expand our business across PAN India and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Handle the complete sales cycle from enquiry generation to order closure.
• Generate new leads and develop new customers, markets, distributors, and export opportunities.
• Follow up with customers, negotiate, and close orders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and business meetings.
• Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and other lead-generation activities.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop new market segments.
• Achieve sales targets and maintain sales reports and forecasts.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order execution.
• Generate and manage leads through IndiaMART and other online platforms.
• Handle customer enquiries and follow-ups through ERP.
• Update enquiry status, customer details, follow-ups, and sales activities regularly in the ERP system.

Requirements:-

• Experience in B2B / Industrial Sales / Business Development.
• Experience in food processing machinery will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
• Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
• Experience in IndiaMART and ERP software will be preferred.
