Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Executive with agritech sector experience to drive market expansion across Maharashtra. The role focuses on partnerships, enterprise sales, and on-ground engagement with agricultural stakeholders to deploy geospatial intelligence solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the agritech ecosystem
- Build relationships with agribusinesses, FPOs, agri-input companies, and government bodies
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles lead generation to deal closure
- Conduct product presentations and field demonstrations
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product strategy
- Coordinate with product and technical teams for solution deployment
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and meetings
Required Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in business development or sales within the agritech sector
- Strong network within Maharashtras agriculture ecosystem preferred
- Understanding of agricultural value chains and rural markets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across Maharashtra
Preferred
- Experience working with agri-tech products, precision agriculture, or farm advisory solutions
- Exposure to government or institutional sales
- Familiarity with data-driven agriculture solutions
