Role Description The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and engaging MSME clients, understanding their business needs, and advising them on suitable government schemes and growth opportunities. This full-time role involves generating leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, building long-term relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. The Business Development Manager will track market trends, maintain accurate sales pipelines, and prepare regular reports and forecasts. This is an on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring close coordination with local businesses and stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption of government initiatives.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably working with MSMEs or in financial/government advisory services.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex schemes and benefits in a clear, accessible manner.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze business needs, and develop growth strategies aligned with government initiatives.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and basic data reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of government schemes related to MSMEs and Start-up India, or a strong willingness to learn and stay updated in this domain.
• Comfort working on-site in Ahmedabad, with a proactive approach to field visits, networking events, and client outreach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced start-up environment, demonstrating integrity and client-centric mindset.
