Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

A Business Development Manager (BDM) drives revenue growth by acquiring new clients and partnerships to expand charging networks. Key responsibilities include mapping market potential, 
securing sites, collaborating with government agencies, and managing end-to-end sales cycles for B2B/B2C charging solutions, targeting 58 years of experience in energy or infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Growth & Partnerships: Identify and secure new opportunities with real estate developers, commercial complexes, fleet operators, and government bodies.
• Sales & Revenue Generation: Lead end-to-end business development cycles, including lead generation, commercial negotiations, contract drafting, and closing deals.
• Market Analysis & Expansion: Map customer potential, monitor competitors, and develop strategic plans for charging network expansion.
• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to provide tailored charging solutions and ensure site feasibility.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders, including site owners and local authorities.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: 58 years in Business Development, specifically in EV charging, energy, telecom, or infrastructure sectors.

Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Indian EV charging ecosystem, including tariffs, regulations, and government policies.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

Travel: Willingness to travel extensively for site visits and client meetings
