Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

New Property Onboarding

• Identify and prospect new banquet halls, hotels, resorts, and wedding venues in assigned geography. • Pitch Weddingz.in value proposition to property owners and decision-makers.
• Close onboarding agreements and ensure timely activation on the platform.

2. Partner Acquisition & Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with banquet owners, hotel GMs, and sales heads.
• Act as a single point of contact for newly onboarded partners during initial onboarding.
• Resolve partner queries related to commercials, listing, and activation.
• 3. Commercial Negotiation
• Negotiate commission structures, pricing, and contractual terms with partners.
• Ensure mutually beneficial agreements aligned with company guidelines.

4. Market Expansion

• Conduct market research to identify high-potential wedding venues.

• Track competitor activity and share insights with leadership.

• Expand Weddingz.in presence across untapped micro-markets.

5. Process & Documentation

• Ensure accurate documentation, agreements, and KYC compliance from partners.

• Coordinate with internal teams (Onboarding, Content, Ops) for smooth go-live.

6. Reporting & Review

• Maintain daily/weekly onboarding trackers.

• Share progress reports on targets, closures, and pipeline.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong negotiation and closing skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Field sales / B2B acquisition experience • Understanding of hospitality / wedding / banquet industry (preferred) • Data-driven approach with basic reporting skills • Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment Experience • 15 years of experience in Business Development / Sales / Supply Acquisition • Experience in hospitality, hotels, banquets, real estate, or event industry is an added advantage
