  1. 1. Job Purpose
  2. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and increasing sales of industrial air compressors and compressed air solutions.
  3. The role involves identifying industries and projects, generating enquiries, developing relationships with end users, OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants and channel partners, conducting customer visits, preparing techno-commercial proposals, negotiating and converting opportunities into orders.
  4. 2. Key Responsibilities
  5. A. Business Development & Sales
  6. Identify and develop new customers and industrial accounts.
  7. Generate leads through direct visits, references, exhibitions, networking and market research.
  8. Develop business in industries such as:
  9. Manufacturing
  10. Pharmaceuticals
  11. Food & Beverage
  12. Automotive
  13. Steel and fabrication
  14. Cement
  15. Textiles
  16. Packaging
  17. Electronics
  18. Chemical industries
  19. Hospitals and other institutional applications
  20. Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  21. Develop a strong sales pipeline and regularly update opportunity status.

  23. Promote and sell:
  24. Rotary screw air compressors
  25. Reciprocating/piston compressors
  26. Oil-free compressors
  27. High-pressure compressors
  28. Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) compressors
  29. Air dryers
  30. Air receivers
  31. Air filters
  32. Auto drains
  33. Compressed air piping systems
  34. Air treatment systems
  35. Complete compressed air solutions
  36. Understand customer requirements and recommend the appropriate compressor capacity, pressure, technology and configuration.
  37. C. Customer & Industrial Visits
  38. Conduct regular visits to existing and prospective customers.
  39. Understand customer's compressed-air requirements and operating conditions.
  40. Collect technical information such as:
  41. Required CFM/flow
  42. Working pressure
  43. Operating hours
  44. Existing compressor capacity
  45. Air quality requirement
  46. Power consumption
  47. Expansion plans
  48. Identify opportunities for replacement, capacity enhancement and energy-saving projects.
  49. D. Energy-Efficiency Business Development
  50. Identify energy-saving opportunities in existing compressed-air systems.
  51. Promote energy-efficient compressors and VFD solutions.
  52. Conduct or coordinate compressed-air audits where required.
  53. Demonstrate potential savings in electricity and operating costs.
  54. Develop ROI/payback proposals for customers.
