About the Role

AMASS Skill Ventures Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Business Development Manager with proven, hands-on experience in Government/Private Tender Management, Skill Development Projects, Apprenticeship Programs (NAPS/NATS), and Corporate Relationship Management.

The ideal candidate must have practical experience in identifying and submitting tenders, developing corporate partnerships, and generating business in the skill development and apprenticeship sector.

Important: Candidates with only general B2B sales or business development experience, without relevant tender and NAPS/NATS exposure, may not be suitable for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Tender Management: Identify relevant government and private-sector tenders, assess eligibility, prepare documentation, coordinate bid preparation, submit tenders, and manage post-submission follow-ups.
• Skill Development Projects: Generate business opportunities and develop partnerships for skill development, vocational training, and employability projects.
• Apprenticeship – NAPS/NATS: Develop corporate clients for apprenticeship programs and understand the practical requirements of NAPS/NATS implementation.
• Corporate Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate HR teams, decision-makers, industry partners, and institutional stakeholders.
• Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals and presentations, negotiate commercials, and convert leads into business.
• Team Management: Lead and monitor a 2-member business development team, including targets, follow-ups, and performance.
• MIS & Reporting: Maintain tender trackers, sales pipelines, business reports, and opportunity status updates.

Mandatory Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Tender Management, Skill Development, Apprenticeship, or a closely related sector.
• Practical, hands-on experience in tender identification, documentation, bid preparation, and submission.
• Working knowledge and business development exposure in NAPS, NATS, and Apprenticeship Programs.
• Strong corporate relations and the ability to acquire and manage corporate clients.
• Proven skills in client negotiations, proposal development, and business conversion.
• Experience in team handling and target management is preferred.
