Business Development Manager - Real Estate Valuation & Advisory

About the Opportunity
Valuation and Advisory firm led by an IBBI Registered Valuer with 45 years of field experience. The firm is empanelled with PSU and co-operative banks including SBI, Bank of Maharashtra, and Cosmos Bank, and also serves corporates, insurers, and private clients. The work spans immovable property valuation, Lenders Independent Engineer (LIE) monitoring, and Techno-Economic Viability (TEV) studies.

Role & Responsibilities

The BD Manager grows the firm s share of large-value mandates: corporate and project valuations, TEV and feasibility studies, LIE assignments, and high-ticket cases, from first contact to signed engagement.

- Build and manage a pipeline of high-ticket mandates: TEV/feasibility studies, LIE and project monitoring, large land and industrial valuations, and corporate/IBC valuations.
- Develop relationships with bank credit, project finance and stressed-asset teams (zonal and corporate offices, SME and large-corporate branches), NBFCs, and ARCs and Direct Companies/Clients.
- Source direct mandates from developers, manufacturers, CA and law firms, insurers, resolution professionals and PE/investor clients.
- Track and secure new bank and institutional empanelments; manage renewals and document submissions.
- Understand client requirements and prepare techno-commercial proposals, scopes of work and fee quotes with the Director.
- Negotiate fees, payment terms and timelines; close engagements and hand over cleanly to the delivery team.
- Follow up on receivables and ensure timely collection of fees.
- Track market trends and competitor activity; feed insights into pricing and service development.
- Represent the firm at industry events, bank meets, and professional forums (IBBI RVO, ICAI, CREDAI, chambers of commerce).
- Maintain a CRM or tracker of leads, proposals, conversions and revenue; report monthly to the Director.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Graduate in Engineering, Commerce or Finance; MBA/PGDM (Finance or Marketing) preferred.
- Proven record of winning B2B mandates of significant value, ideally with banks or project-finance clients.
-Hands-on experience in real estate valuation or real estate advisory mandates.

- Existing network among bank credit officers, developers or industrial clients in Maharashtra.
- Working understanding of project finance, DPRs, TEV studies and valuation concepts, enough to speak credibly with credit committees.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and written communication in English, Marathi and Hindi.

Preferred
- Experience at a valuation firm, rating agency, LIE/TEV consultancy or bank credit/project finance department.
- Familiarity with valuation processes.
