Business Development Manager - Industrial Communication

Role & responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Growth

• Develop and execute business development strategies for the Industrial Communication portfolio.
• Drive sales growth and achieve annual revenue and margin targets.

Identify and develop opportunities in key industry segments.

• Develop strategic account plans for large end users and OEMs.

Market Development

• Build market awareness for LAPP's Industrial Communication solutions.
• Create demand through consultant engagement, customer workshops, and technical presentations.

Customer & Partner Engagement

• Establish relationships with End users / Machine builders / System integrators/ Automation OEMs /EPC contractors / Network solution providers
• Drive product specifications in project tenders and automation architectures.
• Support channel partners with opportunity identification and technical positioning.
• Technical Solution Selling
• Promote and position:
• Industrial Ethernet Cables
• PROFINET / EtherNet/IP Solutions
• Managed & Unmanaged Industrial Switches
• Connectivity Solutions
• Wireless Networking Solutions
• Fiber Optic Communication Systems
• Industrial Network Infrastructure

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10-12 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Industrial Networking, Industrial Communication, Ethernet Infrastructure, Connectivity Solutions.
