Business Development Manager - Civil

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in civil construction and infrastructure projects.
• Generate leads through market research, networking, client references, tenders, and industry contacts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, architects, and government/private organizations.
• Identify upcoming construction projects and track tender opportunities.
• Prepare and coordinate EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with estimation, design, engineering, procurement, and project teams for proposal preparation.
• Review project requirements, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and commercial conditions.
• Participate in client meetings, negotiations, presentations, and pre-bid meetings.
• Prepare business development plans and achieve agreed revenue/project targets.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, construction costs, and emerging opportunities.
• Maintain a database of prospective clients, projects, leads, and business opportunities.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and tenders and negotiate commercial terms where required.
• Support contract finalization and ensure smooth handover of secured projects to the execution team.
• Prepare regular sales pipeline, opportunity, and business development reports for management.
