Role Overview

We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and commercially oriented Business Development

professional to help accelerate Alchemy Cleantech's growth across India.

This is a multi-functional role that requires a combination of business development, commercial,

technical, financial, and legal understanding. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner, comfortable

working in a dynamic environment, and capable of taking ownership from opportunity identification

through deal closure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Deal Origination

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for BioCNG projects across India.

• Engage with corporate clients, industrial customers, and potential partners for joint

development of BioCNG assets.

• Lead deal origination, opportunity evaluation, proposal preparation, commercial

discussions, and negotiations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and business

partners.

• Develop market intelligence and identify emerging opportunities in the renewable energy

and BioCNG sector.

2. BioCNG Offtake & Commercial Development

• Identify and pursue long-term BioCNG offtake contracts with Commercial & Industrial

(C&I) customers as well as Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

• Understand customer requirements and develop commercially viable proposals.

• Support negotiations around pricing, volumes, tenure, contractual terms, and other

commercial conditions.

• Work closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure commercial

commitments are aligned with project capabilities.

3. Project Evaluation & Investment

• Evaluate potential BioCNG projects from commercial, technical, financial, and strategic

perspectives.

• Develop investment theses, business cases, and investment memos for prospective

projects.

• Support project financing discussions and work with lenders, investors, and financial

institutions.

• Assist in evaluating project economics, financial returns, risks, and sensitivities.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with technical, finance, legal, operations, and project teams to drive projects

from opportunity stage to execution.

• Support due diligence, contract discussions, term-sheet negotiations, and transaction

closure.

• Ensure timely preparation of presentations, financial models, proposals, and management

updates.
