Role Summary

You will be the business + operations backbone for Desee Art in Mumbai. This role combines marketing, lead servicing and operations. You must be comfortable with the art & culture space; and  comfortable working in anevolving role where responsibilities across business development, operations and marketing may shift as Desee Art grows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development

• Manage all inbound leads: capture requirements, update lead trackers and ensure timely follow‑ups & closures.
• Proposal creation: structure offers, estimate pricing, and prepare client‑ready documents and decks & marketing collaterals.
• Generate new leads through selected channels (like outreach, referrals, partnerships).
• Drive Revenue Generation in the organization.

2. Operations & Process Ownership

• Coordinate day‑to‑day operations including but not limited to invoices, contracts, payment follow‑ups, project status updates.
• Maintain organised records in Google Workspaces and refine simple checklists for key workflows.
• Oversee stock inventory, artwork quality checks, packaging & transportation of materials.

3. Marketing & Social Media Management

• Use Canva, Adobe Express & AI tools to generate visuals (including illustrations) & mockups for pitches & social media.
• Plan and execute a content calendar for social media channels (primarily Instagram and LinkedIn).
• Create and publish posts/reels and engage with community.

4. Data, Pricing & Reporting

• Work comfortably with numbers: build and maintain pricing sheets.
• Provide monthly summary on key operational metrics.

5. Communication & Collaboration

• Draft clear, professional communication for clients and vendors across email, WhatsApp and calls.
• Use AI tools for research and content/deck work; collaborate closely with the founder on priorities and decisions.

Must‑Have Profile

• Background in art / design / culture / creative industries (e.g., fine arts, design, art gallery management, events, creative agencies or similar).
• Comfortable working with numbers often.
• Good written and spoken English; clear communication with vendors and clients.
• Demonstrated reliability and predictable leave planning; strong ownership over deliverables.
• Familiarity with AI tools for writing, research and visuals creation.

Nice-to Have

• 2–4 years experience in any combination of: business operations, account management, project coordination, social media management or business development.
• Advanced Collateral building skills (PowerPoint/Canva).
