Business Development - Facility Industry

Role & responsibilities

• B2B Field Mapping: Conduct daily field visits to industrial areas, commercial complexes, tech parks, and upcoming real estate projects to identify potential clients.
• Lead Generation & Cold Calling: Walk into commercial establishments cold to identify facility managers, admin heads, or property owners and pitch our service portfolio.
• Site Inspections: Coordinate and conduct preliminary site visits to assess the client's facility size and specific service requirements (e.g., manpower needed for cleaning, security guard deployment, technical infrastructure).
• Proposal & Quotation Support: Work closely with the estimation team to prepare customized service proposals, commercial quotes, and SLAs based on site requirements.
• Contract Closing: Negotiate pricing and service terms to close annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) and comprehensive facility management deals.
• Client Handover: Ensure smooth transition of the signed account to the Operations and Facility Operations team for service deployment.

Preferred candidate profile

• Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of facility management operations, commercial cleaning standards, manpower statutory compliances, or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and the dominant regional language.
• Network: An existing network or familiarity with local commercial facility managers, building admins, or society management committees is a major advantage.
