Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager based in Gurugram. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with partner universities and corporate clients, and drive enrollments for Hike Education programs. Daily responsibilities include conducting outreach via calls, emails, and meetings, presenting program offerings, negotiating terms, and closing deals aligned with organizational targets. The role involves collaborating with marketing and academic teams to align business strategies, tracking performance metrics, preparing reports, and contributing to market research and competitor analysis. The Business Development Manager will also ensure a high standard of learner and partner experience through proactive communication and follow-up.
Qualifications

• Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and deal negotiation.
• Solid communication and presentation abilities, with proficiency in explaining educational products and engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical and strategic thinking skills to interpret market trends, set targets, and contribute to growth plans.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, follow-ups, and reporting responsibilities.
• Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office, and online communication platforms for managing pipelines and presentations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Prior experience in EdTech, education services, or consultative sales is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet performance goals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Gurugram.
