Business Development Executive

Position Title: Executive / Senior Executive / Assistant Manager Sales & Marketing

Reporting To: Cluster Head/ Unit Sales & Marketing Head

Job Purpose

To drive tertiary/quaternary care patient volume, build strong physician referral networks, manage corporate/PSU tie-ups, and organize community healthcare outreach across designated territories in Jharkhand. The role focuses on establishing Medanta Patna as the preferred destination for super-specialty care (Cardiology, Oncology, Neurosciences, Gastrosciences, Orthopedics, and Renal Care).

Key Responsibilities

1. Doctor Referral Network & Channel Development

• Identify, map, and engage consulting physicians, nursing homes, local medical practitioner, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) across assigned territories.
• Build and sustain a robust doctor referral pipeline to facilitate tertiary care patient transfers to Medanta Patna.
• Organize Doctor-to-Doctor Engagements, (CME) meetings, clinical workshops, and interactive sessions featuring Medantas senior consultants.

2. Corporate, PSU & Institutional Tie-ups

• Target and onboard Corporates, Public Sector Units (PSUs), State Government Departments, Insurance Companies, and TPAs.
• Manage empanelments and negotiate healthcare benefit coverage agreements for employees and beneficiaries.
• Conduct regular corporate wellness activities, routine health check-up drives, and occupational health talks.

3. Outreach Campaigns & Community Engagement

• Plan and execute health camps, preventive screening drives, and awareness events across Tier-2 and Tier-3 hubs in Jharkhand.
• Coordinate field logistics for diagnostic camps (e.g., Cardiac screening, Cancer detection drives).
• Manage local publicity, regional media visibility, and branding campaigns around outreach events.

4. Market Intelligence & Revenue Generation

• Deliver on monthly and quarterly revenue and patient-volume targets across OPD footfalls, IPD admissions, and diagnostic referrals.
• Track market dynamics, competitor activities (pricing, new clinical offerings, doctor tie-ups), and patient flow trends out of regional districts.
• Maintain complete data accuracy in the CRM/HIS system, tracking lead conversion from referral to admission.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Monthly referral footfalls and IPD admissions generated from assigned territory.
• Number of active referring physicians maintained and new doctor accounts opened.
• Successful corporate/PSU empanelments signed and revenue generated from corporate clients.
• Execution quality and ROI of district health camps and CME events.
