Business Development Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to companies and HR/business decision-makers.
• Identify companies that may require an HRMS, Payroll, Attendance, Recruitment, Employee Management or related solutions.
• Explain WorkEdgeHR clearly and confidently to prospects.
• Qualify leads based on company size, requirements, existing HRMS and buying interest.
• Schedule qualified product demos for the senior/product team.
• Follow up with prospects through calls, WhatsApp and email.
• Maintain accurate lead and follow-up records in CRM/Google Sheets.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Coordinate with the senior sales/product team during the sales process.
• Achieve assigned weekly and monthly calling, meeting and lead-generation targets.

Preferred candidate profile

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Decent to good English communication.
• Confident and comfortable speaking to new people over the phone.
• Strong follow-up and persuasion skills.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Google Sheets and email.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to handle rejection and continue prospecting.
• Self-motivated, disciplined and target-oriented.
