    About this role

    WE ARE HIRINGBUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

    Company: IndusTreeBiz

    Location: Rajendra Place, New Delhi

Job Type: Full-Time | Work From Office

    Experience: 2–4 Years

    Laptop: Mandatory

IndusTreeBiz is looking for a smart, proactive, target-oriented Business Development Executive who understands that business development is not just calling leads or sending follow-up messages.

We are looking for someone who can identify opportunities, build relationships, understand client requirements, follow up intelligently and contribute directly to business closures and revenue growth.

    THE ROLE

You will be responsible for managing the complete business-development cycle:

    Prospecting → Qualification → Conversation → Meeting → Proposal → Follow-Up → Negotiation → Closure → Relationship

    This is an ownership-driven role.

We do not want someone who waits every day to be told:

    Whom should I call

    What should I send

    When should I follow up

We need someone who understands the objective, takes initiative and owns the pipeline and results.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Generate and identify new business opportunities through calls, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, databases and digital channels.
    • Research potential companies, founders and decision-makers.
    • Understand client businesses, pain points, requirements and growth objectives.
    • Qualify leads before investing significant management time.
    • Conduct initial business-development conversations professionally.
    • Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings with decision-makers.
    • Present IndusTreeBiz services and solutions confidently.
    • Prepare/coordinate proposals and commercial discussions.
    • Maintain disciplined and intelligent follow-ups.
    • Handle basic objections and move prospects toward closure.
    • Maintain an updated lead and opportunity pipeline.
    • Track all enquiries, meetings, proposals, follow-ups and closures.
    • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
    • Build long-term relationships with clients, prospects, associations and business networks.
    • Work closely with management on priority accounts and strategic opportunities.
    • Share regular pipeline updates, challenges and next actions.
    • Take responsibility for agreed monthly business-development and revenue targets.
    WHAT WE EXPECT
    Strategic Thinking

Understand why we are approaching a prospect—not simply execute a calling list.

    Ownership

Once a lead or opportunity is assigned, take responsibility for moving it forward without repeated reminders.

    Strong Follow-Up Discipline

Follow up professionally and consistently without irritating prospects or allowing opportunities to disappear.

    Business Understanding

Be able to understand different industries and communicate solutions according to the client's actual requirement.

    Results Orientation

    Activity alone is not performance.

    We will look at:

    Qualified Leads → Meetings → Proposals → Follow-Ups → Closures → Revenue

    Proactive Communication

If a prospect is stuck, a proposal is delayed or an opportunity needs intervention, communicate it immediately.

    Commercial Confidence

Be comfortable discussing requirements, budgets, decision timelines and next steps with business owners and senior management.

    REQUIRED SKILLS
    • 2–4 years of experience in Business Development / B2B Sales / Client Acquisition.
    • Strong verbal and written communication.
    • Confident in speaking with Founders, Directors, CXOs and Business Owners.
    • Experience in B2B services, consulting, marketing, digital services or professional services preferred.
    • Strong prospecting and lead-generation ability.
    • Good understanding of LinkedIn for B2B outreach.
    • Ability to research companies and decision-makers independently.
    • Good negotiation and follow-up skills.
    • Strong documentation and pipeline-management discipline.
    • Comfortable working with targets and measurable KPIs.
    • Basic understanding of CRM / lead-tracking systems.
    • Ability to work independently and take ownership.
    • Personal laptop is mandatory.
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF
    • You only want to make calls from a provided database.
    • You need repeated reminders for every follow-up.
    • You measure work only by the number of calls made.
    • You avoid targets or accountability.
    • You wait for management to solve every prospect objection.
    • You are uncomfortable speaking with senior decision-makers.
    • You treat Business Development as an operational task rather than a revenue responsibility.
    WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

A strong Business Development Executive at IndusTreeBiz should be able to say:

    I know my pipeline.

I know which opportunities can close.

I know why a prospect is stuck.

I know my next action for every important lead.

I am contributing to revenue—not merely completing tasks.

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

    Performance may be evaluated on:

    • New Qualified Opportunities Generated
    • Decision-Maker Conversations
    • Meetings Scheduled
    • Meeting Quality
    • Proposals Generated
    • Proposal-to-Closure Ratio
    • Follow-Up Discipline
    • Sales Pipeline Value
    • Monthly Closures
    • Revenue Generated
    • Client Relationship Quality
    • CRM / Pipeline Accuracy
    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a person who is:

    Smart • Hungry to Grow • Proactive • Professional • Accountable • Commercially Aware • Results-Oriented

At IndusTreeBiz, we do not want only task doers.

    We want people who can:

    Think → Plan → Execute → Follow Up → Solve → Close → Grow
