Business Development executive Road transport and logistics

Key Responsibilities:
Contact existing and potential customers through phone calls, WhatsApp and other channels.
Understand customers' transportation requirements, routes, volumes and frequency.
Generate new business opportunities and reactivate existing customers.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Follow up on leads, quotations and potential bookings.
Coordinate with internal branch/operations teams to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
Maintain regular records of customer interactions, leads and business opportunities.
Identify new customers and markets for road transportation services.
Achieve monthly business and customer acquisition targets.

Requirements:
14 years of experience in logistics, road transportation, freight or related industries preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident and professional on phone calls.
Good understanding of the road transport/logistics industry.
Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
Comfortable using WhatsApp, Excel and basic CRM systems.
Smart, energetic and target-oriented.
Hindi and English communication skills required.
