Business Development Executive - Outbound/Inbound Voice

About the role

You'll be closing warm and cold leads. The human voice a customer hears after they've already shown interest in Uberlyfe whether that's a WhatsApp inquiry, an abandoned cart on our website. This is a conversion-focused role with warm and cold calling.

What you'll do day-to-day

• Monitor and respond to all inbound WhatsApp messages within defined SLA (target: under 15 min)
• Pull daily abandoned cart reports and prioritise follow-ups by cart value and recency
• Call or message in-store visitors within 24 hours of their visit and maintain a follow-up cadence
• Develop strong product knowledge across all Uberlyfe SKUs size, mechanism, fabric options, and delivery timelines
• Communicate accurate delivery timelines based on customer pincode and warehouse availability
• Log every lead, conversation, and outcome in CRM or tracking sheet daily no leakage
• Handle post-purchase queries and coordinate with ops team for delivery/exchange concerns
• Share weekly conversion and objection reports with the founder

Must-Haves

• 5--6 years in inside sales, tele-sales, or a customer-facing role
• Fluent in English and Kannada or Hindi (spoken)
• Comfortable on WhatsApp, phone calls, and basic spreadsheets
• High ownership follows up without being reminded
• Patient and consultative with customers who take time to decide

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience selling furniture, home decor, or big-ticket items
• Familiarity with Shopify or e-commerce order flows
• Used WhatsApp Business or any CRM (even basic)
