Business Development Executive- Domestic Hiring-Chandigarh

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive domestic recruitment business by identifying new clients, developing relationships, and generating recruitment mandates across industries.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a strong business-development mindset, and the ability to convert prospects into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, LinkedIn, email campaigns, references, and market research.
• Identify HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Heads, Business Heads, and decision-makers across target companies.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
• Understand client hiring requirements and convert them into recruitment mandates.
• Conduct client meetings and presentations to introduce recruitment and staffing services.
• Negotiate commercial terms, agreements, and service contracts with clients.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Coordinate with the recruitment team to ensure timely delivery against client requirements.
• Follow up regularly with prospects and clients to improve conversion and business closure.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, follow-ups, proposals, and closures in CRM/ATS.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly business development and revenue targets.
• Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and hiring requirements across industries.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1-3 years of experience in Business Development / Sales / Client Acquisition, preferably in Recruitment, Staffing, HR Consulting, or related services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to confidently approach and communicate with senior HR/business stakeholders.
• Target-oriented with a strong focus on lead generation and closures.
• Good knowledge of LinkedIn, email outreach, cold calling, and digital prospecting.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as with a team.
• Graduate in any discipline.
