Business Development Executive (BDE)- Travel and Tourism

Job description:

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive with at least 1 year of experience in the Travel & Tourism industry. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, developing client relationships, handling travel enquiries, and achieving sales targets through effective communication and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through calls, WhatsApp, email, social media, networking, and direct marketing.
• Handle B2B and B2C travel enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the operations team to prepare suitable travel packages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, DMCs, and other business partners.
• Follow up regularly with prospective and existing clients to improve conversion rates.
• Prepare and share quotations, package details, and proposals with clients.
• Negotiate with clients and suppliers when required to achieve competitive pricing.
• Maintain proper records of leads, follow-ups, quotations, and conversions.
• Meet monthly and yearly sales and revenue targets.
• Identify new markets, destinations, products, and business opportunities.
• Participate in travel exhibitions, networking events, B2B meets, and promotional activities.
• Coordinate with the Operations and Reservations teams to ensure smooth delivery of confirmed packages.
• Collect customer feedback and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Stay updated on travel destinations, hotels, packages, seasonal offers, and industry trends.
