Business Development Execuitve

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through field visits, market research, and networking.
• Generate leads and build a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
• Visit construction sites, consultants, contractors, builders, and corporate clients to understand project requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with the technical/estimation team for suitable proposals.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, tenders, and commercial negotiations.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects.
• Achieve assigned monthly/quarterly business development and revenue targets.
• Maintain regular records of leads, meetings, follow-ups, and business opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth conversion of leads into projects.
• Prepare and submit regular MIS and business development reports to management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Master's / Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• 25 years of experience in Business Development / Sales, preferably in EPC, MEP, Construction, or Infrastructure.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and networking skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively for field visits and client meetings.
• Target-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated approach.
• Good knowledge of the local construction and infrastructure market.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel is preferred.
