Business Development Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Engineer to drive sales and business growth for Hydraulic Cylinders, Instrumentation Tube Fittings, and Reverse Engineering Solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify customer requirements and provide suitable engineering solutions.

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in manufacturing, automation, oil & gas, steel, cement, power, aerospace, and process industries.
• Promote and sell Hydraulic Cylinders, Tube Fittings, and Reverse Engineering services.
• Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, networking, and customer referrals.
• Meet customers to understand technical requirements and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
• Prepare and submit techno-commercial quotations in coordination with the sourcing and engineering teams.
• Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercial terms to close orders.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, OEMs, EPC contractors, and industrial clients.
• Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and customer meetings.
• Coordinate with design, production, sourcing, and logistics teams for timely order execution.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain CRM records, sales reports, customer visit reports, and business forecasts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good understanding of Hydraulic Cylinders and their industrial applications.
• Knowledge of Instrumentation Tube Fittings, Valves, Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems.
• Understanding of Reverse Engineering processes, component development, and manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits.
