About The Role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the business development and expansion strategy for India, growing Kerten Hospitality's management and franchise portfolio across hotels, resorts, branded residences and mixed-use real estate developments.
- Originate and secure new development opportunities, building and managing a strong deal pipeline across priority markets and growth corridors, including land and site opportunities where relevant.
- Lead negotiation and structuring of management and franchise agreements, including commercial terms and key contractual principles.
- Lead feasibility studies, market assessments and investment analysis to evaluate the commercial viability of potential projects.
- Build and maintain senior relationships with hotel owners, developers, investors, family offices and consultants across India, representing Kerten Hospitality in high level discussions and industry forums.
- Develop compelling investment cases, proposals and pitches tailored to owners and development partners.
- Track hospitality and real estate investment trends, competitor activity and emerging markets to shape expansion priorities.
- Partner with Development, Operations, Finance, Legal, Technical Services and Brand teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Report pipeline status, deal progress and forecasts to senior leadership, and recommend priorities for market entry and portfolio growth.
- 7+ years in Business Development, Commercial Strategy or Market Access within hospitality and/or real estate.
- Proven track record on hotel management agreements, franchising or investment driven development deals.
- Strong knowledge of the Indian hospitality and real estate markets, including key owners, developers, investors and growth cities across tier 1 and tier 2 markets.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen: feasibility analysis, deal structuring, investment evaluation and negotiation.
- Able to operate independently and represent the company at the highest professional level.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
